Grantmaking Program Area Descriptions:

Research: OFRF funds research on organic farming systems and the dissemination of these research results to the greater agricultural community. Proposals must involve farmers or ranchers in project design and implementation and take place on working organic farms and ranches when possible. Additionally, proposals should articulate how the proposed research project will foster the improvement or adoption of organic farming systems.

Education & Outreach: Improving organic education for all ages is a huge part of our core values at OFRF.  Whether you're a kindergarten teacher, beginning organic farmer, or about to transition to organic farming, OFRF has resources to help you along the way.
