Mission: Our mission is to develop books that are high quality and sold in book & gift stores, placed in libraries and schools and distributed as eBooks as well as develop aspiring writers through our author development programs.

Grantmaking Program Area Description:
People of all ages aspire to write, whether for fun, therapy, romance or to be published. The purpose of the Spirit of Writing Grant Program is to provide funding to assist with projects that will enhance ones writing and assist individuals with furthering their desire to write, perform, or publish. Projects that benefit groups of people are preferred.
Type of Funding/Funding Restrictions: Individual applicants do not need to be a part of an organization. Organizations must have a 501 C 3 designation.
Application Instructions: There are two grant cycles in 2014. Grant applications are due by 31 January, 2014 and 31 July, 2014 and may range between $500 and $2,500. Applications must be submitted through the online grant application
Notes: We have an affinity for New Mexico and we are looking for organizations with projects of interest to us to fund as a signature project.
