Collecting Voices with Photovoice Narrative

Registration is closed for this event

Description

The training is designed to build skills that will allow anyone regardless of their age, role within the community and organizations to take a proactive approach in collecting and learning how to voice their concerns, contributions, and cause. Photo Voice involves individuals of communities that are normally not included in decision making or have no research, and data collection knowledge. The fun and proactive Photo Voice projects will bring to light the importance of documenting and being owners of their own data. It also provides a space for all community members to express their concerns and attributes within their day-to-day life, and issues that impact them personally. Nonprofits can use these skills to increase participation, awareness, data collection for future grant writing and final reporting of their work.

*This workshop will be hosted virtually on Zoom.
