Working Towards the Common Good: 2016 NM Nonprofit Survey Report

Nonprofits are a powerful force for change, and our collective voice is more important now than ever. Building Movement Project (BMP) conducted their annual New Mexico Nonprofit Survey at the end of 2016. The survey explores how nonprofits in our state are working to help the most vulnerable communities, addressing pressing issues, and taking action together for the common good of all New Mexicans.  

Description

At this free event, BMP will release the 2016 survey report and a panel of local nonprofit leaders will discuss what the findings mean for their organizations, how they collaborate with other nonprofits, and what role New Mexico’s nonprofits can play in strengthening the sector and improving our state. 

This report builds on the surveys from 2015 and 2014, and will provide a deeper look into the experiences of nearly 300 nonprofits from across the state, highlighting the issues, challenges and opportunities they face as organizations. 

Come listen to local nonprofit leaders talk about how the survey findings reflect the struggles and successes of their organizations, and how they develop and sustain partnerships to achieve positive outcomes for children, families and communities across New Mexico. Learn how you can get involved in Building Movement Project's ongoing efforts to build the capacity of New Mexico's nonprofit sector to make positive and lasting changes for our state.
