Moving from Outputs to Outcomes (In Person or Online)

Registration is closed for this event

Is your nonprofit able to demonstrate that its programs are both valuable and making a difference?  Nonprofits have a responsibility to funders and clients to report meaningful results.

Learning Objectives

  • Navigate through simple logic models
  • Differentiate between outputs and outcomes
  • Acquire the basics of developing outcome measures and indicators

Description

Most funding opportunities come with reporting requirements. Typically, funders seek monitoring or evaluation of the programs they support. They want to see adequate implementation of the program, a description of the inputs, program activities, and outputs. However, the most important question involves the long-term outcomes intended by the program.  Did the program achieve its goals and produce results for its clients and stakeholders?

This is a hands-on workshop; bring your project plans, with information about the objectives, activities, inputs, outputs to work on.

Available through live streaming--participate from your computer or mobile device.  Engage during the training by emailing comments and questions.
