Reframing Conflict
Presented by Alena Schaim, Executive Director of Resolve New Mexico
For many of us, the term 'conflict' has a negative connotation. But the reality is that conflict if a part of everyday life, and avoiding conflict often leaves us feeling stuck, unhappy, or misaligned with our values. With the right tools, we can reframe conflicts as opportunities to communicate more effectively with others - and ultimately engaged in social change!
In this free webinar, participants will discuss various conflict responses and examine how our individual reactions toward tese responses affect our day-to-day conflict management. You'll leave with new tools and perspectives for navigating interpersonal dynamics and advocating for social justice.
For more hands-on practice with these tools, join us for the 4-hour in-person workshop on August 26th!
“The staff was very supportive and caring, and made it worthwhile to practice difficult situations. They listened to my personal situations and worries, and pushed me to practice these scenarios in a safe environment. I already feel more prepared to deal with conflict in my life, and their guidance pops into my head when I realize that a conflict is arising.”
