ABOUT THIS YEAR'S SUMMIT
Listening in a Shifting Landscape centers listening as essential infrastructure - helping social impact practitioners to pause, reflect, and adapt
In today’s rapidly changing social, political, and technological environment, listening is more important, and more complex, than ever. Power dynamics are evolving, communities are navigating growing complexity, and new tools are transforming how feedback is collected and used. Feedback+Albuquerque: Listening in a Shifting Landscape centers listening as essential infrastructure – helping social impact practitioners to pause, reflect, and adapt, examining not only how to listen well, but when, why, and with whom does listening lead to better decisions, stronger relationships, and more equitable outcomes.
This year’s Feedback Summit features three complementary tracks that address different dimensions of listening in a shifting landscape. Listening Across Difference focuses on engaging across identity, power, and lived experience with care and intention. Technology in Service of Listening examines how AI and other tools can balance supporting feedback practices with consideration to ethical, equity, and environmental concerns. And Listening in Partnershipexplores collaborative approaches that strengthen shared learning across nonprofits, foundations, and communities. Together, these tracks provide practical guidance, critical reflection, and actionable strategies for high-quality listening in a shifting landscape.
