Paloma Flores joined Groundworks in July 2021, as an Executive Assistant and now holds the Operations Coordinator position. She is originally from El Paso, Texas, and happy to be back in the Southwest. Prior to joining the team, she lived in Oklahoma where she held various positions in different industries including working with Office of Public Gaming for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Paloma has also served on the BCAP Fund as a board member and Events Chair, where she helped raise over $30,000 for Breast Cancer patients.
Paloma currently serves on the board for the Arthritis Foundation of New Mexico, and she hopes to increase awareness and resources for Arthritis in the state. She attended the University of Texas at El Paso, where she was an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Maria Amaya with ARCH Core Project; and Dr. Kristinia Robinson and Dr. Diane Monsivais with the RidCancer Pain Project.
In the past, Paloma has had working experience with fundraising and special events, concerts and music festivals.
