Henry Rael has been Program Officer at the McCune Charitable Foundation since July 2012, coming from a career previously centered in the private sector. He has almost 20 years of experience in the publishing and technology sectors and more than 10 years’ experience in grassroots community and enterprise development. Henry was on the start-up team of Innovent Technologies, a Bluetooth semiconductor company and served as a communications and marketing Manager at Broadcom Corporation, a Fortune 100 chip company based in Orange County, California, managing communications efforts for the company’s market-leading Bluetooth and Wi-Fi products. Since returning to New Mexico in 2002, Henry has been active in the nonprofit sector, founding a community-based economic development agency and co-founding Agri-Cultura Network, a cooperative of small farms and MediaDesk New Mexico, a communications firm serving the non-profit sector. Born and raised in Albuquerque, Henry has B.A. degrees in English and Political Science and an M.A. in English from UNM and lives in the South Valley with his wife, daughter and son. He cherishes his deep roots in New Mexico, with his children being the 14th generation of his family in the state.
